- Breeze Dental is a family-owned and family-run practice. We are owned by the Doran family who all personally work in the business to drive it forward.

- We are a large practice, with big ideas, but with the level of patient-care and level of cohesiveness within the team that (in our experience) can only be found within a family-run business.

- Three of our owners - Jackie, Ailish and Cara Doran - are all dentists working clinically on-site. They are on-hand for support wherever needed, and we are uniquely experienced in supporting less-experienced Associate Dentists with their transition from their previous mixed/NHS roles, to fully private roles.

- We have an excellent Practice Manager, Melanie, who has been with us for over 20 years, who ensures the smooth day-to-day running of the practice, providing excellent support to our team. She ensures the highest levels of organisation and highest standards of nursing support.

- We have a highly-skilled team that we are very proud of, both in relation to our nursing team, and our front of house staff. They all provide excellent support to our clinicians. We boast a high number of qualified dental nurses as well as high retention rates of our staff - with a large proportion of our team having been with us 5+ years.

- We appreciate the value of investing in good equipment, high-quality materials, and the latest technology. We are fully digital, including recent acquisition of an iTero 5 Scanner.

- We are proud of the career development prospects we offer at Breeze across the team. We like to invest in and support our team in undertaking further training to develop themselves and to further the service we can offer to our patients.

Prab's Story (Dentist)

After relocating to the North East, I sought to join a dental practice that embodies excellence and one that reflects my passion for dentistry. I am the head receptionist at Breeze Dental and I couldn’t think of a better place to work. Everyone is just one big family and we all help each other.

I absolutely love everything about working at Breeze, I enjoy speaking to patients especially the ones I have now built up a good relationship with! I love my team, the dentists, therapists & all the nurses are all so lovely.

My main goal is to make sure every patient that walks through the door has the best experience as possible and we really do strive to make this happen.

Melissa's Story (Therapist)

I started breeze as a trainee dental nurse straight from school in 2013, after qualifying and working with several members of the team, I aspired to become a Dental Therapist. After completing an access course I finally got a place at Newcastle University to fulfil my dreams. In 2021 I graduated and was lucky enough to come back to Breeze.

The support I get from Breeze is outstanding! There is nothing too big or small that I could ask and everyone is always happy to help, from the dental nurses to the dentists, I really couldn’t imagine I’d be where I am today if it wasn’t for them!

Taylor's Story (Dental Nurse)

I joined Breeze Dental at the beginning of October 2021 as a Trainee nurse. I applied for this job as I wanted to begin a career within a healthcare setting. One of the best parts about dental nursing is meeting the patients.

Everyone is different, so it makes the day more interesting as no day is the same.

I get so much support at work with my learning and college. They help and guide me on everything to make sure I get to my end goal of passing my exam and becoming a Dental Therapist.

I love working at Breeze and couldn’t imagine my career starting anywhere else.
